I rarely use face makeup on normal days because I’m too lazy. And I haven’t tried a lot of BB creams because I swore to myself to focus on skincare first before trying to find a good BB cream or foundation. I don’t want to pile on cover-up if I still have a bunch of acne.

BB creams from Korea are always a mixed bag for me. I have recently tried the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream in #21, too, and I found that Korean BB creams are too pink for me. I am yellow toned for the majority of my skin, except my very pink face. So I always end up with this pasty white face perched on a yellow neck.

The sweet people from Beauty in Seoul Philippines [ Instagram | Facebook ] sent me a small thank you package for my reviews, and this BB cream was one of the items inside. I have only heard of this brand from Beauty in Seoul itself, and I haven’t tried anything from it. It’s also pretty hard to find resources and reviews about this product so let’s get this ball rolling.

TL;DR: Wrong shade/tone for me but I love the product.APC_0163b.jpg

This BB cream comes in only two shades, as far as I can tell on available sources online, #21 and #23. Both are pink toned, and both are not right for me. It seems to blend right in to my arm on the swatch, but on my face in natural light, it’s pretty noticeable. The product is very easy to work with, though using a sponge is always a better option for me.

First off, I love that this BB cream kept my oiliness at bay. Some BB creams I tried (Skinfood Peach Sake and iWhite) made my face even more of an oil slick. I only need one piece of blotting paper in the middle of the day. On the flipside, it doesn’t dry me out, too.

This also has enough coverage to hide my redness and make my skin look even and pretty. As with most (all) BB creams, this feels really light and is unnoticeable throughout the day. It does rub off in all places that my glasses touch my glasses, but that’s a given.

This also doesn’t break me out, as far as I know, which is doubly nice. I haven’t been using it for long enough, though, so that’s a bit of a disclaimer. The skincarisma analysis does state that it is alcohol-free, so that might be it.

It does have a SPF50+/PA+++ rating, but since none of us pile on enough BB cream for the sun protection to matter and we should all use a separate sunscreen, I thought it was worth mentioning but not worth going about more into.

Get it at your nearest Beauty in Seoul kiosks (see photo below for locations) or at their online shop for only PHP311/30mL. (This is not an affiliate link, just thought I’d save you the trouble.)

The EYENLIP Pure Cotton Perfect Cover BB Cream gets an 8/10 from me. I would use it everyday if it came in yellower shades.
